Race Schedule, Categories, and Registration:

9:30: Masters Men Cat 4-35+, 45+, 55+, Women Cat 4, Masters Women [30 min race]

10:20: Men Cat 4 [30 min race]

11:10: Masters Men Cat 3-35+, 45+, Women Cat 3, Women Cat 1/2, S.Spd. Women [45 min race]

12:10: Juniors 10-12, 13-14, 15-16, Kids (after Jrs finish)

1:20: CROSS MADISON (team relay race-3 rider teams)

2:30: Men Cat 1/2, Masters Men Cat 1/2-35+, 45+, Men Cat 3, S.Spd. Men [50 min race]

Categories and race schedule subject to change at sole discretion of promoter - promoter reserves the right to combine or eliminate fields based on participation.

Pre-regististration at Second Ascent opens December 1st and will close at 6 pm Thursday, December 11th. Second Ascent is located at 5209 Ballard Ave. NW - Seattle, WA in old town Ballard next door to the Tractor Tavern.

Day of race registration also available.

Check-in and day of race registration closes 20 minutes prior to start time. To expedite race day registration bring a completed USAC rider release form to the race.

Entry Fees: All adult categories-$20/All Juniors-$10/Second Race-$10/Kids Race-free/Cross Madison-free with individual race entry, $10 otherwise.

Race Numbers, Licenses, and Misc.:

Seattle Cyclocross Series numbers will be used; number will be provided if you don't have one. Bring your USCF or NORBA license with your correct category. One Day License forms will be available at registration.

USA Cycling rules apply, including UCI Cyclocross racing age. All 35+ masters that finished in the top 5 in a Cat 1-2 road event or pro/semi-pro mtn bike event in 2007 will race in the open Cat 1-2. Mountain bikes (without forward pointing bar ends) may be used. No warming up on the course during racing. DO NOT CROSS THE FINISH LINE UNLESS YOU ARE RACING!

About Camp Korey:

Camp Korey is a medically supervised camp staffed with physicians, nurses, and trained camp counselors for children suffering from serious and life threatening illnesses. The camp provides a week-long experience of camp programs and activities for children ages 7-16 at no cost to them. More information can be found at CampKorey.org

Donations to Camp Korey are Encouraged as Thanks for Hosting the Race - Donations Will Be Collected at the Race!

Course:

Race will be at upper meadows of Camp Korey (formerly Carnation Farm). Course will consist of farm roads and trails, forest paths, and open meadow, with some special holiday elements thrown in for good cheer!

Prizes: Cat 1/2 Men (Cash min. $40, $30, $25, $20); Cat 1/2 Women (Cash min. $35, $25, $20); all other categories: trophies (min)

From I-90, take exit 22 north, continue north on Preston Fall City Road to Fall City, continue through Fall City north on Hwy 203, turn left on Carnation Farm Road, follow signs to Camp Korey (upper farm entrance road will be on your left before passing camp buildings).

From Redmond, take Redmond Fall City Rd. (Hwy 202) south, turn left on Ames Lake Rd., continue on Ames Lake Rd becomes Carnation Farm Rd., follow signs to Camp Korey (upper farm entrance road will be on your right after passing main camp buildings).
